REYNALDO LUZA

First publication on the memoirs and artistic works of Reynaldo Luza (1893-1978). Three books explore in detail his work in illustration, painting and photography.

Luza was a fashion artist born in Lima who earned a living by contributing drawings to Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Vanity Fair. In 1921 he joined Harper’s Bazaar as the chief fashion artist for 27 years. He was soon after appointed Artistic Director of the Paris Exposition of 1938 and the New York World's Fair of 1939-40, by the government of Peru. In 1950 he returns to his hometown to continue his career as a portrait painter.
